Whether in the community and associations, within the institutional public network than in the education, corporate or research sectors, Peer Support Workers are present.

In the fields of Mental Health, Addictions, of Homelessness, Autism, Youth services, Sex work, Chronic Diseases, Post-trauma among veterans etc., Peer Support is a useful complement that mobilizes people's experiential knowledge.

Province of Québec - Les établissements du réseau public de santé et services sociaux (RSSS) embauchent depuis 2008 des pairs aidants dans différents modèles cliniques des Directions santé mentale, dépendance et itinérance. Montreal- The Transition and Recovery Program uses the peer mentorship approach. This program is available for patients of the Allan Memorial and the McGill University Health Center (MUHC).

Quebec- The programPeer Helpers Networkoffers a helpline by peer helpers and a training program inspired by the American training of the State of Georgia in the United States. Since 2008, the programPeer Helpers Networktrains peer helpers in mental health and addiction.
Montreal- The Quebec Society for Schizophrenia and Related Psychoses (SQS) offers groups and workshops led by peer helpers as well as regular peer-help and family peer-help services.

Montreal- The Alternative Peer Intervention Group, working in collaboration with the Cactus Montreal organization, uses the peer approach via the Alternative Peer Intervention Group (GIAP). GIAP peer helpers work with young people
Quebec- The organization Le Pavois offers the services of Peer Support Workers.

Montreal- The organization relief employs Peer Support Workers who are involved in providing various support services.

Montreal- The Citizen Project of the Pair-aidance Québec is a pre-employability project that aims to co-learn about recovery and develop knowledge about Peer Support while getting involved in the community.
Montreal- Hope and Cope offers Peer Support to people affected by cancer.

LA BAIE - Le Centre Le Phare est une ressource alternative en santé mentale qui comporte maintenant de nombreux volets s’inscrivant dans un continuum de services. Dans ces services, se retrouve la pair-aidance.

Sherbrooke- The Pair-Mission offers support to students at the Université de Sherbrooke. while raising their awareness of mental health issues. Whether it is to confide in you about an issue that concerns you, to discuss during a stressful period, or to obtain support, all the reasons are good to call on a person from the network of peer helpers of the Pair-Mission. Also, knowing that it can be intimidating to use this type of service, it is now possible to make an appointment on their platform moodle.
Quebec- In partnership with the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale, Interzone works with Peer Support Workers, particularly at the injection site. Sabsa is a front-line healthcare and social services outreach clinic aimed at re-affiliating the most vulnerable people.
Montreal- The Quebec Association of Parents and Friends of Persons Suffering from Mental Illness (AQPAMM) employs family peer helpers to support the members of the entourage.
